Each remanufactured jetski engine undergoes the same process. Used pistons, rings, rods, bearings, gaskets and oil seals are discarded. SBT's remanufactured jetski engine contains all new moving parts. Only the block of the jetski engine is reused.
SBT owns two patents for the remanufacturing of press fit crankshafts like the ones used in PWC engines. These patents are for the tools and fixtures used in truing and phasing crankshafts. SBT also utilizes CNC technology for a number of processes including resurfacing rotary covers, recutting heads, and boring and honing cylinders. SBT's diamond stone honing technology is state of the art.
Each SBT remanufactured jetski engine comes with either a one year or two year fault-free warranty. The SBT remanufactured jetski engines are warranted against any type of failure including overheating, lack of oil, detonation and lean seizures.

The Research Center is used for both endurance and performance testing of SBT's engine parts and remanufacturing technologies.
